Slate and gravel, 48 x 240 x 288” Installed  for the Working on Edge exhibition at Long Island University,

"Working on Edge, the Salena Gallery's second and improved outdoor sculpture show, includes one work each by six artists. The show does not have a unifying idea. It does have a few skillful works, some of them interactive. Laura McCallum has built a long slate bench with a long mound of stones heaped over it so that bench and mound form a cross."
